“LET’S GET READY TO PARTY!” We have a great lineup for this year’s SUMMER CONCERT SERIES. This month we kick off summer on Memorial Day Weekend by hosting The Elm Street Band for some Classic Rock n’ Roll. They have been referred to as “The World's Greatest Garage/Surf Band.” Then to celebrate the July 4th weeklong holiday (weird this year that July 4th falls mid-week on Wednesday), we will have our second summer concert with The Eagles Experience on July 2nd. Let me tell you, it will be an experience as the band is composed of members who have toured with the Eagles! I am looking forward to listening to the music from the greatest California vocal harmony band from the 70’s and 80’s – aka “The Eagles”.
If that’s not enough, we’ll have Mark Wood and The Parrot Head Band on August 4th and September 1st (that’s right – they are so great we just had to have them twice). This band has been touted as the next best thing to “Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reefer Band”, and they have performed around the world for our military and have opened for Jimmy Buffet numerous times. Like I said, this is going to be our best concert series ever. Make your reservations soon to ensure that you don’t miss out on any of the fun times!
Until we see your smiles, Safe Travels,
Andrea LaValley, GM

The Gossip Board
In April we had a private cooking demonstration at Coronado Taste of Oils. It was a scrumptious experience. We were able to decide which menu we wanted to try, and they prepared a 3-course meal including libations. We were walked through every recipe and learned new and exciting ways to prepare our meals with olive oils. We even had a delicious drink that featured blueberry balsamic - what a refreshing summer drink! Our menu consisted of blueberry-lemon libation, blueberry-kale lemon salad, lemon chicken with blueberry sauce, and polenta and angelic blueberry trifle with lemon curd whipped cream. Wow, try saying that fast 3 times! What a meal to remember.
