*Look What's Happening at the Resort in March*
News From Our Resort to You
SPRING is the time of year, when it is summer in the sun and winter in the shade. - Charles Dickens
As we spring into March, one thing I enjoy most is getting an extra hour of daylight as I drive home in the evening. Why have this extra time go to waste? Here are some fun things you can do with the extra hour for daylight savings time (which starts on Sunday, March 11th) while you're here at the Resort:
Write to loved ones back home. We have new cards in the Resort store, so grab a box of our beautiful cards, sit by the fountain in our central courtyard garden, and write a note to your friends and family back home. Go for a walk through the RV Resort and around the Marina. The flowers are in full bloom and it's a great way to enjoy the beauty of the Resort. Give yourself an extra hour by the pool and read a new book. Take one of our toning with bands classes or one of our yoga classes at the Sunset Pavilion. Did you know that March is National Craft Month? Plan to join our creative and crafty group on any Wednesday during the month and create something new. Or try your hand at something new by joining Chef Michael, on Monday, March 5th as he prepares a meal for you and teaches us the secrets of a perfect soup, stock, and sauces. Wow! All of these great things take advantage of the "extra" hour without having to leave the Resort. Make your reservations soon to take advantage of that "extra" hour.
Until we see your smiling faces again - safe travels,

On January 29th, we had an organized excursion to Tijuana to the Hotel Caesar - the original home of the Caesar salad. At first, we thought it would be great to have 20 people attend, but we ended up with 58 people going for the day. Wow! A bus picked the group up at the Resort, took us to the hotel for lunch, and then delivered us all safely back to the Resort. Everyone had an amazing time. The food at Hotel Caesar was great and the Caesar salad was sublime. After lunch we all went shopping and sightseeing on Revolutionary Blvd. See some of the pictures at chulavistarvresort on Instagram. If you were not able to join us this time - no worries as we have another trip to Tijuana planned for Monday, March 12th.
