Everybody's Yoga has arrived at the Chula Vista RV Resort for the summer. Classes begin July 1st and sessions will occur in the Poolside Room or, depending upon the sun and time of class, in the Sunset Pavilion. Classes are Free to RV Resort guests. Check the monthly calendar in the Registration Office /Store for dates/times.

Event is sponsored by the Bill of Rights and South Bay Artists. Event will be hosted in the Port parking lot, adjacent to the Bill of Rights. Come aboard and tour the historic tall ship Bill of Rights. Browse and buy amazing and beautiful art work at the landside Artists Market. Sample the latest brew from Bay Bridge Brewery, the IPA Bill of Rights. Grab a meal, a taco, or a burger and enjoy live music by local artists.
Complete your evening viewing the adventure film "One Simple Question," an award-winning travel / adventure documentary film about a young couple's small sailboat journey to find an iceberg and their quest for simplicity and happiness. Bring your costume with you starting July 20 to the 24. Halloween in July is a themed activity for the kids culminating in a special Super Trick-or Treat Party! This will be 5 days of memory-making, so make sure that you pick up all our supplies when you check in.
Summer Concert on the Green - The Trade Winds

Our Summer Concert on the Green featuring "The Trade Winds" with John Bowe, a regular at San Diego's "Humphrey's on the Bay" concert venue. The band plays a tropical mix of Beatles, Billy Joel, Eagles and Jimmy Buffet. This will truly be a great concert you won't want to miss. So bring your lawn chair for an afternoon of great music, good times and good friends.

It's 5 o'Clock Somewhere Party & Dinghy Poker Run

This is a private event and only open to RV guests who enter the Dinghy Poker Run.
The day starts off with our annual Dinghy Poker Run with prizes for best hands (last year's run was incredible!). Then, the party starts at 5 pm at the Sunset Firepit Pavilion complete with cold Beer and BBQ Pork Sliders. Get ready for fun with the renowned Jimmy Buffet/Bob Marley-style music of MARK WOODS & THE PARROT HEAD BAND.

Saturday, March 14 - St. Patrick's Day Dog Contest. Three contest categories: Best Dressed Pooch, Best Dog Trick, and Best Pet-Owner Look alike. Complimentary Green Beer for Uprights and Doggie Cigars for all contestants. The fun starts at noon in the Sunset Pavilion.
Saturday, March 14 - St. Patrick’s Day Dinner. Irish music and food is a must, even a few days early. Join us for Irish comradery and a free dinner of Corn Beef and Cabbage at 5:30 pm in the Poolside Room.
Saturday, March 21 - Mardi Gras Party with Zydeco Band "Bayou Brothers". In our Sunset Pavilion from 1 - 3 pm. Warm up with a complimentary bowl of Gumbo and traditional Mini Muffulettas.
Monday-Friday, March 23-April 3 - Spring Break Week. A week filled with kids activities. Parents come and relax Poolside while we entertain the kiddies.
Wednesday-Sunday, April 1-5 - Our Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza. Kids events include crafts for making Easter Baskets, Cookie Decorating, followed by the GOLDEN EGG Easter Egg Hunt.
Saturday, April 4 - Adults are welcome for our Champagne Social Poolside. Enjoy a break from all the Easter sugar highs, and enjoy sipping on a glass of champagne on us poolside.

Saturday, May 2 - Marine Gear Swap Meet. Everyone is welcome to come search for Treasures at our famous annual Spring Marine Gear Swap Meet from 7 am-noon next door at our Marina. Free to all “lookers.”
Saturday-Sunday, May 9-10 - Mother’s Day Weekend. We start off the celebration with a Friday Social Hour at 5 PM where MOTHERS are treated to a special evening of live music and all Moms get their first drink free. Then, Saturday morning join us in the Poolside Courtyard for a FREE Breakfast Social of Muffins, Coffee and Juice from 8 - 9 am. Wake up to buttered hot muffins and jam … yum yum.
Friday-Sunday, May 22-24 - Memorial Day Weekend - Our Kickoff to a fabulous summer. We will kick off the weekend’s festivities with a Happy Hour featuring live music by George James in the Courtyard. Then, Saturday afternoon, join us for a free Concert on the Bay with the San Diego Dance Band, Kick’s, back by popular demand. Check them out at www.kicksband.com. Concert time is 4 - 7 pm in the Sunset Pavilion. The Taco Man will be dishing up his famous $1 Tacos and we’ll provide the chips and salsa. Sunday follows with our Family Picnic and Kids Fun Zone with FREE hotdogs and Bungee Jump.
Friday-Saturday, June 19-20 - Father’s Day Weekend. We’ll start the weekend with a Friday Happy Hour with live music – Dads are asked to wear their loudest Hawaiian Shirt (the one with the best shirt wins a Free Weekend stay at our Resort). Then, from 8 -10 am Saturday morning, join us in the Poolside Room for a Super Pancake Breakfast honoring our dear ole’ dad. What better way to treat dad with this Pre-Father’s Day celebration. Breakfast runs from 8 - 10 am.
Saturday-Sunday, June 20-21 - 43rd Annual Hobie Classic. This is a 2-Day Regatta right off the beach in front of the RV Resort followed by a BBQ dinner dance in adjacent Bayside Park (dinner nominal charge by event producers)

Back by Popular demand, the electrifying 6-piece band, Caliber, will perform a concert filled with a vibrating blend of Pop and Rock. Monday-Saturday, July 20-25 - A Spook-tacular of a time as we celebrate HALLOWEEN IN JULY. The week will be filled with kids fun-filled activities, culminating with a Trick or Treat Party and Costume Contest. It’s sure to be ghoulish time for kids of all ages.
Saturdays, August 1 & 22 - DVD Concert on the Green. Bring your lawn chair and catch some rays while you listen to a popular concert in the Sunset Pavilion. Put on your bathing suit and flip flops, and sip an ice tea, beer or a glass of wine, a few rays, and “life is just can’t get any better.” Concert musicians to be announced.
Saturday, August 8 - Dinghy Poker Run - If you plan ahead and bring your small boat or dinghy on your Resort visit, you could join in our 4th Annual Dinghy Poker Run which starts mid-day right from our Marina. The contestants are each given locations on South San Diego Bay to motor boat to and pick up a card. The skipper with the best hand at the end of the day wins. It is loads of fun and a great way to meet other people. There is a nominal charge to enter the Poker Run. Contestants are all invited to the private Boater’s Party at the end of the day where winners will be announced. For more information or to register as a contestant, call our Marina at 619-691-1860.
Saturdays, August 15 & 29 - Kids Pool Dive-in Movies. We will be playing a Dusk-to-Dark Kids POOL MOVIE that's sure to wear your little ones out (and sleep tight). Movies to be announced.
Saturday-Sunday, September 5-6 - A Country Labor Day Weekend will feature San Diego’s Most Wanted Country/Western Band, "Southbound Jonny’s". They ride under cover of night from the far corners of the county, hovering at one end of the saloon, their instruments steadied like Winchester's. You will be taken dead or alive when the first cord is struck. Check them out at www.southboundjonny.com. Be prepared ya'll for our Chili/Cornbread cook-off contest. Sunday follows with our Family Picnic and Kids Fun Zone with FREE hotdogs, popcorn, etc. Come try the new “WIPE OUT” (just like you see on TV). See who can last the longest.
Saturday, October 3 - Marine Gear Swap Meet. This is the last Swap Meet of the year (from 7 am - noon). Treasures abound for those who missed the Swap Meet in May.
Saturday, October 10 - Lawn Chair Concert on the Bay. This year’s live concert features the Beatles look-alike band, "The Complete Beatles Experience Tribute.” This free concert from 3 - 5 pm in the Sunset Pavilion.
Saturday, November 7 - Veterans Day Dinner Dance. This year we will be honoring all Veterans but we will focus on the War in Iraq. All proceeds from our dance will go to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. Beef Stew and Cornbread dinner dance with live 50’s and 60’s music provided by "Jerry and the Stars on the Water".
Saturday, November 21 - Group Early Thanksgiving Potluck. Resort will provide the Turkey and Gravy, guests bring a potluck to fill in the rest of dinner.

Friday, November 27 - Light the Harbor. Join us at sunset for our Annual Light Festival when we flip the switch to turn on all the Christmas lights at the RV Resort and our Marina. Join us in the Sunset Pavillion for music and appetizers from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.
Saturday, December 12 - Winter Wonderland and Chocolate Extravaganza RV Rig and Candy Cane Viewing contest starts at dust so grab a mug of cocoa and stroll through the park enjoying the decorations. At 5:30 pm tempt your sweet tooth at our Chocolate Extravaganza in the Poolhouse Room where winners of the Decorating Contest will be announced. If you’d like to decorate and enter the contest, you will get a Free Night Coupon upon departure.
