We do accept groups at CVRV, and consider a group to be 10 or more rigs. We encourage people who travel in groups of 10 or more to form their own group, so that they may be eligible and take advantage of our special group rates. Sorry, but no group rate for under 5 rigs.
Right now we are accepting group reservations into 2012. To book a group reservation, we ask that only the Wagon Master or Group Leader contact our coordinator about the specific group reservation. that way there is less confusion. We will ask for some info from you. The following list is some of the questions and info that we will need from the Wagon Master.
At the time of reservation, we will require a pre-determined 1st deposit, the second deposit is due 30 days prior to campout, and third and final payment is due the day of campout.
*Check in 2:00 pm - Checkout 12:00 pm (Sorry, no groups in July or August)
DAY BEFORE & DAY AFTER In the season months (June and September) All Group Rates will be 20% off the Perimeter rate. (This is our lowest site rate.)
Day before and day after Group Members may stay for the same rate they are paying for their campout. Day before and day after stays must make their reservations through the front desk. Information needed:
- Name of individual
- Name of group
- Group's arrival date
- A first nights deposit on American Express, Visa, Master Card or a Check.
Day before and day after campers will be responsible for their own pet and key deposits.
CLUBROOM USE
As a courtesy to rally members, the CHULA VISTA RV RESORT has many clubrooms, a Large Clubroom equipped with a full kitchen, an upstairs Apartment equipped with a full kitchen and restroom, a Small Clubroom equipped with a full kitchen, a custom built Tent, and a Group Hut (Group Hut is free of charge).
Reservations for these facilities must be made in advance and are, of course, subject to availability. If you have dinner guests who are not registered in the Resort with your group, there is a charge of $3.00 per person.
We will provide chairs for two times the number of sites reserved, seating for this same amount (six per table) and two serving tables. We are limited in the number of tables and chairs available, particularly on busy weekends. If you should have additional requirements, let us know as far in advance as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you. (possible charge)
Groups are responsible for providing their own decorations, table furnishings and cookware. Please! We kindly request that no staples, pins or tape be attached to the walls. We also ask that your group leave the clubroom in a clean and orderly fashion so that we may continue to offer this courtesy.
CANCELLATIONS, REDUCTIONS, OR ADDITIONS Should you be unable to hold your rally after making a reservation, you will forfeit half of your deposit as a cancellation fee providing we are given 30 days notice.
Group reductions or additions need to be completed 30 days prior to your rally (which is why the second deposit is required by this time). Sites cancelled after the 30-day confirmed count will be charged the first night fee. Cancellations or no shows 7 days prior to day of arrival will be charged for each night reserved. Thus, to make your job easier, we strongly encourage Wagon masters to obtain advance payment from all the members who commit to your rally.
Last minute additions to your group will be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending upon availability. We will do everything possible to site these individuals within your group area.
CHECK-IN
You have arrived! And you are the first one here! We hope to ensure a smooth arrival for your group. We ask that the Wagon master check in before the rest of the group members so that you may assign your individual sites. If you cannot be the first to arrive, please ask someone to fill in for you.

In an effort to provide personal and immediate service to your members, you will be given a roster to be completed and turned in by 5:00 P.M. on your first rally day. In case of an emergency message, this will assist us in delivering the information in a timely fashion.
